For those who own afrocks you know they can be dangerously unpredictable. But overall, how is it's attitude?

well I'm taking a wild guess but it seems no one but you owns rocks lol but soon you will not be alone! how are your rocks on a regular basis? do females or makes tend to be more agressive? do you plan on breeding? as i recall you have 1.1 am i right? hope to hear back soon later brother.

Yeah I have an afrock breeding pair. The female is pretty laid back actually. The male has his little moments where he just wants to be left alone and he has no problem telling me that.

For the most part they are great.

Them and the burm breeding pair actually gave me some babies earlier this year.

I like the Spastic Chainsaw choice! lol, but seriously, I do not and have not ever owned a African Rock. Someday maybe. They are pretty and I love Giants! So many snakes out there I want though...

That's a big problem. Their are so many other snakes that would be a better a choice for most keepers. They realize this and take the other road and don't give the afrock a chance...

Very true. But look on the bright side - at least there aren't as many African Rocks being neglected as say, Burmese Pythons, Retics, Boas, etc. I'm thinking about adding something new to the collection in the near future, something small. Can't decide though. I want to get my first Hot, I'm a big fan of vipers and rattlesnakes. I'm also thinking about a chondro. Maybe I should just get an arboreal hot... Satisfy both tastes
