JETZEN.. how complicated ..if at all.. is it to prevent them from eating each other during breeding sessions? What are some of the things you do to prevent it ..if anything ...? And is it more likely to happen with different species or subspecies ...during hybridization attempts?

they can go crazy on each other at anytime so they must be supervised.........and as you can see heebie and dogfaces sister are getting along fine......soooo.....i guess it just depends on the the mood they're in at the time.
and hybridizing common kings with other kings or corns or whatever can be extremely tricky......i recently had some close calls.......but there are some stratigies i hav'nt tried yet.
i have had them try to eat each other on their 1st dates.....then get along fine on their 2nd.
my kings seem to have a reputation for being very agressive........most people i know that breed kings tell me their kings are fairly mild. mine have the propensity for being extremely violent.......i have quite a few pics to show how agressive my kings are.
