How big do they get? Females larger than males, or vice versa? Are they typical.. "always hungry" ??

members of the mexicana complex never get big.....the biggest i know of was only 41"......maybe some get  little bigger but i doubt it.  males are bigger than females.  mexicana are not pigs like easterns or floridas.  if and when i get eggs from these ....i am keeping the babies and getting rid of mom and dad......i have found that babies usually look better than their parents.

I really like these ...the contrast is great!

Is the male the brighter red or the female? And have you ever had eggs from them before?
