PIJAC Python Survey - Your Response Is Needed‏

On February 3, 2009, US Senator Bill Nelson (D-Florida) introduced Senate Bill S. 373 to add the entire Python genera to the “injurious wildlife” list under the Lacey Act (Title 18 US Code Section 42(a)(1)).  The Bill has been referred to the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works. SURVEY RESPONSES NEEDED!

Everyone involved with keeping, breeding, importing, exporting, or retailing Pythons needs to participate in the survey. The data will be combined into a report so that confidential personal information is protected.  We need to gather information on the numbers of people involved with the affected species, including data on the numbers of animals by species and certain financial information to show in a consolidated report the scope of interest in and the economic investment in these species.

Floridans need to get rid of Sen. Bill Nelson.....there's prolly more herpers in FL than any other state. Nelson should be removed before he ruins valuable commerce for the fine state of Florida and the rest of the U.S.

what do you think........would be a good stratigy to get rid of the idiot?  now that i think about it........nelson might have been the one that was spouting off about the dangers of exotics when the chimp story was on tv.

nelson is a thorn in every herpers side coast to coast. herpers of the world need to consolidate and fight this guy any way they can.
no doubt the other jack asses.......will start in too.  this is why nelson should be removed asap.   but florida is a strange state.........a lot of strange laws/permits from what i understand..........yet so many herpers and herp businesses. this is a very idiotic strange trip.....considering there's not enuff money to go around as it is. and now this shitty crybaby  crap....  that's not gonna help anything.
even if this stupid bill don't pass........nelson should still be somehow run out of office......he can only be counted on for causing more trouble in the future... and that goes for the guamanian that's causing trouble too.

most the southern states are verry strange in their herp laws. Ga for example you can own any native venomous snake without a permit but you can't own anything non venomous thats native without one, an in order to obatin a permit for native non venomus or exotic venomous you either have to be an exhibitor, a breeder, or in it for some form of profit. The state of georgia loves its money, an money does all the talkin in this state.
Al an Tn recently made it a bit easier to obatin Cities I crocadillians from what I understand from a friend of mine talk about a anal retentive state (TN) -_-.
Getting everyone to work togeather an realize that this is something that can an WILL effect them is difficult because everyone just about thinks the same thing "nah wont happen" or "i'm sure enough people will dos omething" Nothing happens less you the person get off yourkeister an do it yourself. This isn;t oemthing tahtsgona just be handeled over to us, its something we are gon ahave to fight for, an make our voices heard.
its the same with BSL - pit owners think "nah no ones gona do it here, no one would come knockin on myfornt door an take my dog from my home" till the day it happens.

parents let a puppy and a baby stay together unsupervised in the same room? no crib for the baby? no crate for the puppy?   nothing phases me anymore........are people reverse evolving into lower animals?
i a believe pomeranian would kill a baby......when i was a young boy i knew a old man that had a kennel of about 50 pomeranians.....they were all mean little hell dogs. that would break their legs if they jumped off a chair.
i just found out the humane society and the dept. of fish and game are/were starting shit in my state. it was earlier this month....... i did'nt know anything about it. something about restrictions on wild canids/felines/crocidilians......who the f**k knows what will happen next? this humane society shit is really starting to suck. i would think they could stay busy enuff with cats and dogs.......i f**kin hate the humane society.
