lol true. I most likely will be picking up some more females and a few males and if money isn't a problem next year will try. Luckily my wife is supportive and loves reptiles so I got that going for me :) Let me know how it goes would love to hear your results!

*Shrugs*  Most people on Darkside are large constrictor fans.    Although we have a good few BP fans.  I have never been to bp.net and I am sure a bunch of members don't frequent there.

In any case I love bloods.   Glad to see the posting here.

I had a corn snake that was the same way.   My anaconda is like that every once in a while as well.

well i'm happy enough to see an issue resolve itself...i am a member there i don't frequent it just like a few other forums i'm a part of of...i'm a fan of pythons in all honesty everything from a childrens python to the sulawesi reticulated python lol my blood is kinda the same way if the food is colder she doesnt waste energy on striking but if its really warm fresh from infront of the heater than she jumps on it i would love another blood but the gf says not yet and i cant find a black blood i like...you could say i'm more into the high contrast black and white(i've seen 3 of em and fell in love) also its all about the individual mine..i wouldnt touch her with a snake hook honestly she's gapped, bitten, and pooped on me all in the same day before so to say they arent what ppl make them out to be is another generalization.

Both of my female i can reach right in and pick up. Both my males i have to move really slow or they get spooked and do the open mouth swipe thing. I have got a couple closed mouth strikes from them, but never a open mouth one.
