As for the chart on Blood Python healthy and unhealthy weigh i been looking all over and can find it. I believe it was on Blood Python forum when came across it. I saved it on my old computer, but lost it when it crash. I know i posted it a least once on another forum, but it's no longer up and running. I will keep  looking.

yup,,, your probabally right.   im pretty sure the cold water thing doesent work though.  not too long ago, i made what i see as a mistake by coming across the back of the snake with food insted of presenting the rat infront of her (shees a pretty agressive feeder) so as she struck at it, she missed and hit herself and all hell broke loose.  i near shit myself because now i got a big snake stuck on herself and trying to coil up flopping all around... i grabbed her up and went to the tub for the cold water. it dident work. i dident want to try to unattach her from herself because everytime i touched her, she tried to coil up even harder.  as i was just sitting there, wandering what to do, she eventually let go.

man..i so CAN wait for my blood to get that big but shit its inevitable...after i move everyone i'll get pics up of her..and donnie can see his work and how she's progressed hahaha...as for the biting thing keep listerine around i heard thats a good way to get em to let go without doing any real harm,,next is rubbing alcohol, and regular ol alcohol but thats what i've heard...cold water doesnt ring any bells though and obviously for a reason..i've been bitten by my female ball, my 6ft boa back when it was 5ft, my blood has hurled herself at me gaped and bitten me lol she's only like 2ft so it was cute lmao but at that size..man it dont seem so cute! i got a question for ya'll though my blood is SUPER aggressive. I wouldnt mind bein able to take her out sometime but when i pick her up she starts poopin on me or pissin everywhere..kinda annoying. I just wanna take her out an enjoy her colors but damn sometimes it aint even worth it...

i dunno man, but like i said in another post,,, i *think* (no proof to back this up),,,,, but i think that bloods are kinda solitary animals.. maby as they get bigger, they chill out a little.
as with any snake, or reptile that i have seen the brain of,,,, it, (the brain) is just big enough not to slide down its back.  i think you need to look at each species as an individual,,,ie. where it comes from, where it is found most in its native habitat, and most important, ,,,,,,, know the animals charictoristics in its natural enviroment.     i know that theres a lot of people that are gonna find offence to my previous statement about its brain,,,,, but its true.   a snake/reptile is not some animal that connects with you, or gets to know you,,, its an animal that has survived for thousands of years simply because of one thing,,,,,, its brain is truly only programed for 2 things,,,, food ,,, and reproduction.  thats why,,,,, one day there snappy, and one day there not, there eigther thinking about traveling , or eating.
  JUST MY 2....................
and BTW, my bloods are totally different animals than my balls,,, not because one has a better attitude, but because they have diferent charectoristics...
 thanks

Nice bloods! As far as getting snakes to release, brown listerine in a spray bottle. Works every time.
If it has scales, I want it. Period.
