Well man, I guess that had to be your decision... But what ever you decide, you won't be wrong  :)
And religion, like the monster that it is
Keeps telling you to turn the other cheek
God is on your side, but I don't think that you're on his,
If Jesus showed up now he'd be in jail by next week !!!

Well, I'm gonna go into a bit of consideration with this one.  You say you want a female burm to breed.  How old is your male?  How old would the female be?  Are you goin to be able to breed and accomodate the offspring??  Just curious what your family would think since you're still living under their roof.  Are they willing to let you have two large pythons and then breed them??  That's my first thoughts of all of this.  I know if you want something, you want it, but are you prepared for it???  IE: for breeding/etc.  Just a few thoughts before you go purchase something.

Brandon, you're a good guy, and you care about your animals. I want everyone to read this to understand that I've talked to you on many occasions and know the situation pretty well. I think down the road another burm or maybe even a retic is a fine Idea. However I do not feel you're ready for another one now. The burm you have has had a pretty rough road living on mice for 2 years in a glass aquarium. Now I know you've been doing better lately since we've been talking. But personally I think you should wait until you have that burm eating rabbits, and have a nice supply of rats and rabbits, and until you have your freezer, some nice feeding tongs, a decent snake hook, and a good 6 x 3 cage for the one you have before you worry about getting anything else. I know you'll strive to do this right, and I know money can be tight, so this will take you a little while. But adding another right now will only make it harder to get the first one right. Hope you understand where I'm coming from man.

Do I care if you hate me? Do you wanna know the truth?

well the stand on that tank is on each is bout 6 or 7 foot long and wide enough for a retic for rest of his/her life all i gotta do use my creativety and build a nice size cage maybe a bit bigger then a 6 x3 size cage and for rabbits hopefully next month im movin my freeze in myt room i already got a freezer just waitin for them to get a newer freezer and juel;s will be on 4 pound rabbits and my new burm or retic will be on babe rabbits when i get her depends on her size with jazzy my other female burm i already had her on small rat from the beginning i gotton her tho they was to big for her but she always degest them the next day

oh and on the breeding note from southern boa gurl i know how long it will take for juels to breed hes almost 7  foot already maybe just 2 or 3 more sheds hes bout 2 years almost i know burm like every other snake they can breed after 18 months to 4 years of  age and breeding right now is not what im rushin to do so i got few more years to breed them if i get a female burm at that i just made get a female retic and and donnie i got feeding tongs i useally just drop two large rats on his tank and leave him alone and he'll get them

I don't know your situation brandon, but from what it sounds like I would recomend waiting till you have your own place and more room for the ones you have before getting more.  Wait on getting a new one and use the funds for maybe a bigger cage for your current animals or some rabbits maybe?  Just my opinion.

Brandon, please don't get offended when we say any of this.  We want to make sure you're prepared for anything and everything with a new animal.  It's not only space you have to worry about in these situations either.  What if something goes wrong with one of these animals, it's not necessarily cheap.  I only have one snake and am ready for another one (or more) but I still have limited knowledge and not afraid to admit that I'd rather wait to make sure that I'm ready with all the knowledge and financially ready for more animals as well.  There's nothing wrong with waiting.  You could even start building another cage and get all the necessities before you get another one too.  Save up some money and put it into a snake fund in case any emergencies occur also.  Getting your first burm healthy and onto the correct feeding schedule/size is your first priority.  We just want to make sure everything is right for your next animal and are friends here to help with any advice that we possibly can.
