what other info can you share?  do you have any background info on it's parents? i think that is a very strange and interesting animal.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, it has been busy at work. As for the parents, the Mom is a leucistic and the Dad looks like a normal Texas Rat but obviously he is het for leucistic as I have had both types in the clutch. I have also gotten a few dark brown and caramel patterned ones. It has been interesting and I can't wait to see if they hook up this year. Oh and BTW, the bigger that piebald gets the more the rich caramel color is coming out.

Now THAT is a nice lookin' Rattie kid!   :happy30:

Any updated pics of the Pied? Do you have pics of some of the other clutchmates .. particularly the "dark brown" and "caramel"?

TX Rats are some of my favorite ..for their funny little 'tude ..but lots of other reasons, too  ;)  I'd love to pick up a couple from you, from any future clutches... so if there's a waiting list, please add me to it  :D

Wow.. they do have some great color!

Do you have any available ..even hets ...that I can pair up my little heathen, Puck! (my avatar), in a year or so? She popped as a female when she was wee little ..but I'm waiting on my new set of probes, to be sure. In the mean time, I am very interested in a "caramel" baby ...if you have any now, or coming up this season!  :)
