MY diy snake enclosure

Ah, that ventilation will work just fine then since balls don't really need a ton of humidity. How are you heating it?

I have a under heatng pad located under the glass bottom of the enclosure,a 75 watts infrared night light a 75 watt basking light...should it be enough?Also a 5.0 24" desert flourescente ...for extra lighting.

The belly heat (as long as you have a good thermostat or at least a temp gun and a dimmer switch) and a decently warm room is all you need. The lights are just going to dry out the air, and stress out the animals. These are nocturnal animals who avoid light in the wild, they just don't like it. Other than that they look good. Very interesting.

well i got a thermostat & hygrometer by zilla,got a temp gun too,but thanks on the heads up on the lighting!!!

you mean thermometer and hygrometer by zilla? a thermostat would be a thing with a probe that you tape to the heat source, and it plugs into the wall, and the heat source plugs into it, it has a way to control the temps so you get that 90 degree hot spot on the floor. Try to find a good proportional one like the herpstat or helix thermostats. This is not going to heat the air. The air in the cage only needs to be in the upper 70's. That temp gun's a life saver for checking surface temps.
