« on: May 02, 2011, 04:42:09 AM »
This is my newest animal I haven't posted in a while since I sold all my big guys due to floridas laws which I won't get into. But this guy is awesome his colors are amazing with the blues and white specs I just love him! Unfortunatly my camera broke and I have to use my phone for pics so crappy pics are better then none I guess!

Would you not have been grandfathered in? Or couldn't get the permit?
If you had them before it went into effect you had time to get the permit before there was an all out ban but who knows if they were actually issuing permits....fl really screwed us over with that shit......

ANYWAYS... gorgeous chondro! Can't wait to see more pics when you fix your camera :)

Unfortunately Florida states that you can not add to your collection unless you own a buisness and there's a bunch of stuff that goes along with that so I gave up my permit and decided to focus on GTP's and Bloods. Thanks for the nice words!

ah I figured that, but wouldn't have cleared out what I already had. But if you were looking to breed them and then couldn't I could understand.
Just one more reason to leave Fl. I do not think I will miss it here....

I love florida but the herp laws do suck really bad. If I ever moved I think it would be to tennessee. But as far as getting into big snakes again while I'm in florida I think I'm gonna get me a pair of Olive pythons  :dancing: they get pretty big and there isnt any laws in florida about them.

GTPs and Olives are my FAVORITES!!! This really is a crappy cell phone pic (no offense), and yet you can STILL clearly see that this snake has a lot of color that this photo isn't showing well! Congrats on the catch. It might be good to have some new blood in your collection, being WC and all. Is he feeding well?

I love Retics, but I think you will find a lot of satisfaction in GTPs and Olives (don't keep any bloods, so I can't speculate on those guys, though I wouldn't mind a pair of Blacks). They are very rewarding and often times very challenging... And so beautiful. And quite frankly, you have to know your shit to keep GTPs. And for Olives, well it's obvious that not just everyone keeps them.

Do you plan on breeding in the future? Do you like Aussie Olives or the Papuans or both?

And don't be afraid to show more pics of this guy. :) I'll look for them!
Cheers!

No offense taken at all Chelsea my iPhone camera sucks bad but it's better then nothing lol. I actually picked him up from Judd and as we all know Judd is seriously into chondros lol so I've learned a ton from him. He eats like a retic or a Burm minus breeding season like normal for most pythons. I would like to eventually like to breed just gotta get passed the newborn with baby stuff to buy then it's time to look around :) to tell u the truth Chelsea I didn't know there were two species I'll have to look into em and get back to u! I do love yours! What subspecies are those?! Promise more pics to come!

I only keep the Aussie's. I think they're prettier, and in my experience, friendlier. And thank you!

Judd is an awesome guy. I miss seeing him around here. Make sure you tell him how killer that guy is for me. ;)

By the way, I'm sorry you had to rehome Crown. That was one flawless Burm, and I know you loved him.

Bigger things will be in your future though!
Cheers!
