Hey, my name is Jocelynn. I am completely new to reptiles but I will be moving in the next year and I am looking into getting a snake; most likely a cornsnake. I am just here to learn as much as I can so that my new addition will live a long and happy life with me.

Glad you are looking into reptiles.  Any particular reason you are wanting a corn snake?

Also look into a tarantula.  They are fun :D

Lol she likes corns because they come in so many colors ;).
Glad to see you made it over hun from the other forum.
 btw Donnie K is who I got Solstice and Inferno from  that everyone was droolin over haha ;)

looking into getting a cornsnake because I just like the look of them, nice and long and sleek. Wow Donnie K must have some good choices in snakes, those guys are beautiful.

I don't think I will be getting a tarantula anytime soon atleast cause my roommate is scared of them, and it is only fair that we get a animal that we both like.

ah, keeping peace in the living quarters is always a smart thing to do.  I don't think I'll be much help to you with corn snakes...the only real experience that I've had with them was for a few months when I had 2 assigned to me when I was in college (my school was a zoo, literally, lol).  Active little guys, mine were.  I am sure you will find plenty of good information here though.  Welcome and good luck with your search!
