My new Yellowbelly and Pastel males!!!!!
« on: July 22, 2010, 12:45:06 PM »
Ok so i bought these two forever ago but SYR went down. We waited and finally went with www.reptilesexpress.com and got them over nighted to me just fine. I grabbed these pics real quick as i was pulling out the snakes to go into quarantine. I will grab much better ones in a week or two when they calm down and stop trying to eat me lol. I have never seen two snakes hiss and strike so much lol. Anyways they are chilling for now but ill post what i have so far.

Really nice looking Ball Pythons, Peter!!!! I love that third picture and from what i can see of the normal in that picture you have yourself a nice reduced pattern Ball Python.
Cool pictures and thank you for posting them for us. Sorry I had to leave the chat had some business to address on the phone and housework and snakes to do. LOL I juggle my time constantly around here but we all know how that goes.

Here is a pic that i have been able to grab while he was out. He has stuck shed on his head that i am trying to get him to get off but I have only had him a couple days now. He finally let me hold him last night so tonight I am going to put him in a warm humid tub for a bit to try and trigger him to get it off. Ill post pics again later tonight if it works and he sloughs it off.

He's really kept his coloring well as he's grown from a little one!!  Good luck with the stuck shed and keep those pictures coming!!

Really nice vibrant coloring and a fine looking Ball Python. Another trick I learned years back is to buy vitamin e gel caps and anyone that sees their snake rubbing it's head to try and start a shed pierce one of the gel caps and rub some of the vitamin e oil on their head especially the nose area and it soaks in and within fifteen minutes or so the shed will let go. I keep it on hand and use it when I know any of my snakes are getting ready to start rubbing their shed off. It works miracles but does give them somewhat of a greaser appearance.
