Standing Tall And Proud

Chewy is just the most amazing Carpet Python and he is never on the ground when I have him outdoors and is always standing up.
Had him out yesterday for a couple hours so did these pictures of him

Brian from BHB Reptiles where I got him is very impressed with Chewy and his growth rate he will be two in September.

Laughing my ass off and you know it's next to impossible to get him to stay on the ground? Drives me bonkers and makes a damn good target for the huge black birds that circle outdoors when he does this.

I've never seen a Carpet do this before and it's very odd to say the least. Must be from all his exercise on his branch in my lap his first year and he can actually extend upward and touch my ceiling. Sure glad he has some tough ass muscle control. LOL

Thanks Chewy is the king of posers LOL I swear he stands all the time for the camera it's next to impossible to keep him on the ground. I told Brian think somehow he's got Cobra genetics mixed in because he's very defensive and protective and always stands tall and proud.

That's one handsome fella! Its funny my Macklotts does the same thing outside...one of these days ill upload a video I have of him doing just that...I nicknamed him poser cuz he is lol...great pics I love the first one!!
