Honestly bro, after seeing some of the information you have posted on your forum, such as the care sheets telling people to let ball pythons get down to even as low as 70 degrees with a hot spot as low as 80... and Monitors needing a basking spot to stay below 95 degrees... I really think you've got quite a bit to learn before you'll be helping anyone around here. I'm not trying to be an asshole, it's just that we here at darkside take great pride in making sure everyone here gets the right information to keep their animals as healthy as possible. I'm not claiming I know it all and I only speak up on the things I know, but if I don't know it, we have someone here that does.
Also... I think Tara might be referring to the pm's you've sent members here mention the URL of your forum. Especially after removing my monitor video on my monitor thread on your forum because it has my forum's name on it. And editing my welcome post there because I mentioned I am admin here. It's just not right to go sending pm's like that to members on other forums. I never mind if someone mentions their site in their posts, or carries their banner in there sig. Hell there's guys here that'll tell you've I've recommended their forums to all my members. But Based on your actions on your own forum, and in the private message system on my forum, I've had to remove your banners and links. That's just not the right way to go about things man, and honestly, I was pretty offended by it. And as you can see, some of the team here isn't too happy about it either.
Asking me if you can be a mod or admin one time in pm is one thing, you didn't know any better. But when I told you no, we don't do things that way, any prospect positions that open up here are offered to active members who have been here awhile... it really wasn't ok for you to just go sending multiple pm's to the other admins and mods asking them. It's not a "well dad said no so I'll go ask mom or grandma" situation.
You're welcome to post here, and share pics of your animals, and any useful information you might have, or need to receive. But I do have to ask you to think again about some of the behaviors you're exhibiting, and show a little more respect for this forum, the members of this forum, and the people who run it.
