This is right on track here. But it doesn't look like retained shed to me, it looks like scale rot. Follow the treatment carla just gave. only use 90 degree water instead of 80 (use a thermometer, 90 degree water is NOT as hot as you think it is, our body temp is 98.5).

Need to know what kind of setup you're using, it looks and sounds like you have a humidity issue. Are you by chance using a glass tank with a screen top and a heat lamp maybe?

Yeah I asked her in chat when she made this thread to post pics of the setup because at first she said is wasnt a bad shed. Then i thought well maybe her heat lamp burned her and then she said there was a net between the snake and lamp. I still say its a few bad sheds stuck on.

Saw this one coming. For one someone that comes in swearing all the conditions are perfect and in the same post ask for advice and help is either not seriously concerned about the snake or using the snakes condition for attention to be accepted.

I'll never understand this mind set in people.

If someone comes in asking for help or input or advice it seems they would be more grateful for the help instead of copping an attitude toward the people that are trying to be of assistance.

Guess I'm glad I don't understand their thinking and if I did it would concern me. LOL
