Amazon Tree boa's birth
« on: April 16, 2010, 06:25:30 AM »
Hello People,

I'd like to share with you some photos of C. Hortolanus hatchlings. They were obtained by a friend of mine who is Brazilian and he lives in Buenos Aires. Enjoy!

Cool Picture!!!   Isnt it amazing all the different colors that just one ATB breeding can produce.   One of my favorite species of snakes the birth pictures are always awesome.

Thats really cool. They look like little colorful worms lol. They do interest me though how they can be born all different colors and still turn green as adults. I think that is really neat. :)

That happens in Corallus Caninus (Green tree boa), this is C. Hortolanus, and these babies will keep the same color as hatchlings.
The parents are Yellow and dark Orange, and they are beautiful. I'm still thinking which of them I'll choose.

Saludos.

Oops lol. I don't keep them so scientific names just confuse me lol. My bad. Still great looking snakes though.
