I use a small hook with my atb's.  I still get many many kisses but not as many.  That setup doesn't look very busy,  Ive found mine prefer it to be really full of branches and vines and such for them to climb on and hide in.   I use a large butter bowl in the corner that you almost cant see for all the branches and stuff in the tank for a hide that she sometimes uses.  Also is it just randomly striking all of the time,  or mostly just when you or something else reaches across the top?

About his set-up. He's just in a temporary set up. When he was at the store, he never went on the branches or anything. he just like to curl up with the carpet pythons and the rainbow.
Also he strikes, well get all alert when somthing moves above his tank, and also not much beside anymore. Hes always curled up so he doesn't see you. But hes gotten abit better, but not really. I may even be re-homing him =(
Because I take my snakes and other critters with me to do little shows at the day cares I wokr at and other places. The kids love hiim but they want something they can touch, but they love his big size. Im jsut worried he might be to aggressive to bring, butwho know he may just end up being my pet, not one that coems to shows ect.
Also my ex bf who comes over alot, wont come over any more =) Hes scared of aggressive snakes majorly. Which is a good thing but w.e
Also totaly diff. question.
Does anyone know where I can buy Baytril without having to go to the veternarian office, and bringing my animals in?
I did have some somewhere in my house but can't seem to find it.? any sug.? Even a web site that I can order some from?
Thankx

Baytril hinders the animals immune system in the long run, husbandry changes are much more effective at treating RI. Otherwise without the changes, you get the RI to die down with baytril, and then it just comes back in a few months.

As far as aggressive, I'm not convinced. I think your snake is highly stressed, especially if you've been taking him to these shows and stuff and he hasn't settled in and got comfortable. Also like steve said, he needs alot more cover inside his enclosure.

with the atb staying on the ground, not going up in the vines and what not, sounds like you got a humidity issue there. they tend to stay on the ground when kept to dry from what i have  read up on them. try misting him twice a day and setting up a hygrometer in his tank. humidity should be on the higher end with a atb.
