good news bad news

She layed me ten eggs the other day but has what feels like two eggs still in her. I have got alot of advie to just leave her be. I am starting to worry more and more. The only reptile vet around Lima could not even sex my one snake right.

you think she might be eggbound? is she coiling up in a corner shivering? or is she still looking around like she wants to lay? Last year I had to actually push eggs out of an eggbound retic.

she lives with my brother now. if she thinks she's done and still has eggs in her, I wouldn't wait too long. may wanna get some input from some more ball breeders though. I'd have probably already been doing it myself.

Just my two cents worth on this issue:

 I really don't see how any harm could be done to help massage the snake and help try and move the eggs further down being she will allow it without too much aggression or stress.

If you start working with moving them down gently she may also start having contractions to try and help get them out. It could be a case of she is exhausted or tired or just not aware she still has them in her because the contraction motions have stopped.

even if you aren't near by, he may be able to give you some tips over the phone.

Yea she still has not passed them. If you would be willing to give me some help that would be great. I tried to massage out but did not think it was wroking. I also did not try and give her a warm bath. I was going to try again today.

Gladly. The only issue is gas money to get up there. You're about 2 hours away from us, and I drive a 4 x 4 brick, lol. If I can pull the fuel from somewhere, I'll let you know.
