These guys who all got their $26 permit to hunt are all gonna hunt and kill them anyway, as a matter of fact it's a stipulation of getting the permit.So, I guess it's either a big pile of snakes to be burned or buried or whatever they do with them, or at least the hides can be used.I can see both sides of it, but the main reasons I don't have a permit are A) I'm not traveling that far to hunt them and B) I don't think I would be able to kill one.

yeah that is just messed up. First of all I seriously doubt that they would honestly pay for those with the prices given. I highly doubt they could. Only in florida can stupidity rise to this level :( I live in central florida so dont flame me for saying that. When it comes to the snakes in the glades people just become a new type of retarded on how to handle the situation.

While this is somewhat bothersome its no more so than rattlesnake roundups.   They have been happening year after year all over at least Texas for as long as I can remember whats sad is there is a huge decline in the number of rattlesnakes caught each year.   I went to one once just to see what is was as a reptile person I had never went and have always been against them.   There horrible by the way!!!!


I dunno what the answer in Florida is,  the one thing that is true is that Burmese can be very bad for our native species of game and rodents.
