My Hamburg buys
« on: March 04, 2010, 03:33:41 PM »
I have been wanting a spider bp for well over two years now, and I was finally able to get one at the show this past saturday. I looked at every vendor there and checked them all out, because I was very specific on what I wanted. Nice high white sides, lots of orange and NO WOBBLE! I know that that seems like a high expectation for a spider, its kinda hard to find one without wobble. But after looking at every vendor I finally stumbled upon Limeys table, and he had a nice assortment of spiders, with  no wobble. I couldn't decide between 2 boys, so while I was holding them both, the one nailed me, so I brought him home  :sign151:

We have been wanting a gabbon for a while now, to add to our little collection of hots. But we were really weary about buying a wild caught specimen. Finally found a gorgeous cb baby. And the couple who produced her live a few minutes down the road from us!

And last but not least, a super tiny, super fiesty female brazilian rainbow boa that we traded a male het pied ball for. Now I got me a nice trio of brb's that will make me a nice little breeding project.

This was the only really good pic I could get of her since she's so small.

And just to throw him/her in the mix, really good friends of mine drove to Deleware to pick this nice guy/girl up for me. They brought him for me on Valentines Day ♥

Really nice finds heather!! I'm drooling over the black speckling in the GTP... He's just gorgeous. I'm quite jealous. The spider seems to have hit the nail on the head for what you were looking for. He is definitely quality with his wavey pattern and high-white sides. The Gaboon has a really nice white head and some nice lavender showing through.

If you frequent Hamburg, maybe I'll get to see you around sometime? :)
Cheers!

Thank you everyone! The gaboon is very interesting, to say the least. Watching her eat is amazing, and she sure shows her true sides once the lights go off. Everytime I walk past her enclosure you can hear her thumping the glass! LMAO
