I feed out, I am afraid of impaction.

That varies with bedding used. Alot of us use newspaper so that's not so much of a concern.

Out is fine for some of your smaller species, though it stresses them out moving them after they eat. But I just want to be clear with larger things like burms and retics, feeding in a seperate container not only stressful to the snake, but very dangerous for the handlers as well. Just wanted to throw that in since this subject was brough up again.

Did you hear the word about me trying to die?
Fist in the air and a finger to the sky.
Do I care if you hate me? Do you wanna know the truth?
 C'est la vie....adiós....good riddance....fuck you!"

As I've gotten larger snakes I've had to take that into consideration...when they were all small for the most part I could easily move them and handle them gently enough that never had a problem...but now, since I have so many that are on the large size....they feed in.   Dinner is served :)

I only have a 3-week old crestie, so yeah. It has already realized that if it is being moved it is going to get food. I try to make my terrariums very naturalistic, so I use that forest moss stuff.
