Yeah I went and looked at your profile and saw the date. I just didn't pay attention this morning when I got up. Anyways it would be awesome if you stuck around here more. We have a lot of fun here. To post a picture in a reply or new thread just type [ i m g] and [/ i m g] Without the spaces in between of course. All you do is copy and paste the picture link in between the img source thing and you should be good to go. Now a lot of people just use the img source code offered from photobucket but i like to use the direct link instead. Its up to you how you want to do it.

if you're talking about the photo of the month, that can be posted anywhere. as for any current contests, there aren't any. That's what this thread's about, deciding what to offer as a prize for the next contest. Then it's just a matter of picking what theme we will use.

Did you hear the word about me trying to die?

Do I care if you hate me? Do you wanna know the truth?

Lol yeah pretty much this thread is a poll to see what all of our members would like to see in the upcoming contests that will offer prizes.  The monthly photo contest is ongoing currently and you can post pics anywhere (reptile pictures, growth threads, specific species area threads, etc), but that is not something that has prizes.  It is generally just recognition of having the best picture of the month.

Glad to see you here though Trish and hope things are continuing to get better for you and we'll see you here more often ;)

I think reptile supplies are a given as we all need them, but as for different species of pythons...thats kinda bad as if you have a burm, retic, african rock, or scrub as a prize i can't enter =( or the best i can get is 2nd place as they are illegal here(although it doesn't matter New York state has already stated in their law that it is not enforced unless complaints are filed{not taking that chance}...) i think first place should have their choice from a series of prizes(snake, reptile supplies, magazine)

I suggest maybe a "Patriotic Contest" for veterans day er idk to difficult lol

Good ideas and right on track Lucas!  We know that not everyone can have snakes whether their state or living situation allows them or not.  That's why I'd really like to do a contest that offers a chance for everyone to get something that they would at least use.

We're looking possibly at June for a contest so keep that in mind when you give any theme ideas ;)

Well I for one think that a choice of different prizes is a great idea..............winner gets to pick from a list offered.........are the contests for only 1 prize for first place? Not one of those that has 2nd and 3rd place prizes right? Now have to figure out a way to start a new thread with pictures for concideration, rofl.............
Anyway, for prizes, yes I would want a choice.
