One of my favorite snakes of all time.

One of my favorite snakes of all time has to be the black rat snake. They go through an awesome color change. And they have such attitudes. I currently have 5 black rat snakes and they are all a joy to work with. They either just want to crawl around or rip your head off either way its all fun.  Here are some pictures of my smallest black rat snake her name is bubbles.

That's the fun part of colubrids, they're so animated and quick at changing their mind if they want to be calm or not!  I love that tattoo too btw

Thank you it was probably the most painful tattoo I ever got. And I gotta support breast cancer. I have a great love for big constrictors but I will always have a soft spot for colubrids.

Why was it the most painful?  On the bone right there on the side of your hand?  I have one on my inner left wrist that didn't feel too good but honestly I don't know which one of my 9 hurt the worst haha.  Yeah I will agree with you there.  I love the large constrictors but don't see myself anytime in the near future keeping them due to not enough space or rather not being able to hide them from my mom while I'm still living with her!!

As far as the large constrictors go I currently have a Burmese python she is a sweet heart and 4 Boa constrictors. I think the main reason I love colubrids is because of there attitudes and there managable size and the fact they can change there mind so fast. One minute they can be happy and just like the flip of a switch they can turn and bite with little to no warning.

Ahh I hear that.  Yeah colubrids are definitely an interesting species for sure for those reasons lol!!
