Avicularia versicolor Growth

My little versicolor molted again today so I figured heck, why not start a growth thread on "her"! Hoping it is a girl anyway :) When I got her on November 14th 2009 she was in a molt. I didn't think she would live through the stress but she's a trooper.


A few days after the molt:


and today, 12/29 after her 2nd molt with me that I suspect took place yesterday. She is so gorgeous and about 1.75" now.


I had to open up her den to get her molt out, but she always cinches it back up in no time :)

 I'm not much into tarantulas but this guys are one of my favs !!! Awesome looking lil girl   ;D

she really is gorgeous....and especially like her lil ziplock nest and her peeking out!  Woot!

Thanks Bree! She's so cute and smart, if she doesn't want her roach she will carry it out the side and drop it in her water cap. haha.
