Can you give us the internal measurements on that...just trying to get a feel as to whether you could fit a few 6qts in it or what?
Sure thing :) A shoebox tub will not fit in it, unfortunately. Almost though! Wal-Mart sells a more squarish container that I think would be perfect. I will be going soon to find out. I got it mainly for ball eggs so I will be making sure the container will fit for balls... hehe. The internal dimensions are 10.5" wide 9" deep and 14" high.
sweet! That helps...I'm looking for another incubator this spring,  and while I'm going to do a homemade one I'd love to have a 3rd just for the hell of it.....or in case the snake gods bless me with LOTS of gravid Missies this spring!

hehe, yep it is always good to have backup! I will more than likely be building another incubator out of a cooler later when I have more animals breeding, but for now this is enough. I just found 2 more crested eggs tonight too... I went ahead and put them in there. It is perfect for animals that need lower incubation temps, since it can heat AND cool. It will be a great help in the summer when I've got a lot of Rhac eggs, it gets too hot in here for them to safely develop.

I have the one I used last year which is a Imperial III, and a few hovabators but we use the hova's for the lizards and geckos, not the snakes.  I have a gutted fridge we have to convert but I think I'm going to get this one too later this year....or maybe....heh!  and the cooling is what I'm really interested in....I need that too here

I'd love to have a gutted fridge to use... That would be great and plenty of space, lol. But as far as this little thing goes, I'd recommend it. I think it is cute.

Unfortunately its not a big fridge its on the small size too, a bit larger than a mini but still not full size.  With our living situation right now it is better for us to have smaller ones than larger though.

I think a mini or deep freeze size would be fine for me down the line, a big honking normal size fridge seems like overkill. But then again I'm not breeding Burms and Retics :P I just emailed the company who makes this incubator I bought asking if they would ever consider making a larger size. Maybe they will!

How many eggs will this incubator hold Abi?

Not sure yet, as soon as I get to Wal-Mart and look at containers I'll have an estimate :) It could hold tons of gecko eggs for sure though, lol.

Lol, nice.  Are you going to use it for your ball eggs too?  Can you house ball eggs and crested eggs in the same incubator?

Yes, I will be using it for the Balls. They are the main reason I got it really. You can't incubate Rhac eggs and Ball eggs together, the Rhacs shouldn't be raised above 80F. My gecko eggs can incubate at room temps, but for in the summer when it gets too hot in here they will be put into this little thing to keep them cool enough. Any ball eggs should be good and hatched by then :)
