frozen thawed items

How long is too long to leave frozen thawed items in the freezer. is the a expirery on this? and is it ok to refreeze a item that a snake didnt eat? also ive seen debates on whether or not its ok to feed slightly freezer burnt items. whats your take?

Freezing up to 12-16 months is what I've heard is okay.  If a snake refuses, I will refreeze once, but that's it.

I personally would not keep em in the freezer more than 6 months, and about the refreezing, its not a good idea but i have to admit i have done it...

Depends on how well they are packaged in my opinion. If they aren't freezer burnt and look pretty good, I will save them up to 1-1.5 years. On the other hand if they don't look so good, 6 months might be all I'll let pass. It just depends. I'll feed freezer burnt if I have to, but I honestly try to avoid it. Also, I will refreeze a feeder if it hasn't been thawed out too long. If it has, in the trash it goes or it is fed to another snake.

Every collection should have at least one garbage disposal.  Mine is Lillith, my rtb.   She will eat anything, anytime, anyday.  F/T or not.

That is how my Randal is, he will take mice, rats, rabbits, whatever. I do have to limit how much extra he gets though, he gets fat easily! lol.
