I am sorry to just be so blunt about not doing it but i dont want you to go throuh what i had to go through. Losing all but two babies and almost having the mom die due to dehydration and lack of eating, i wouldnt wish that experience onto anyone. Trust me i learned the hard way thinking oh its natural and so it cant be bad. Well the reality is that it is extremly difficult to  provide and perfect enviroment for them to succesfully do this. Even with 6 years of succesful breeding under my belt at that time and knowing almost everything there was to know about letting the mom do it, too many factors are at play to control.

I like it as long as you can keep the temps and humidity at the right levels. It is always best to try the incubator out for a few days or a weeks and keep checking everything just to see how it holds up. I use an igloo cooler for mine. I use vermiculite mixed with water and have my flexxwatt and proportional thermostat running through the drain hole in the bottom.
