Redid Copperheads Cage
« on: November 24, 2009, 12:51:25 PM »
Well I got tired of how crapy my copperheads cage was looking SO for the moment here is my intergrade pair in their redone digs. I am debating on moving my EDB into a larger enclosure so If I do do that then that means I will be seperating my coppers for a short while so for now they have nicer digs till I decide ^^.

This is one of my cages that I got from herpcages.com, cage has swival locks on bolts, as well as a key lock  for added saftey. Cage is verry light weight infact i dun even think its even a pound lol. Bedding is Cypress mulch, has a false stone water dish,  fake human skull rep, which i modified to be safer for the snakes, fake greenery, and alil addiion of real hay just for a more realistic feel.
Currently no heat scource but a light or uth can be used.

Those are some really nice cages for sure and set up really nice.
Just love your Copperheads and they look incredible.

Don't even want to know about the skull (probably a close relative). I know how ya'll in Georgia are. When I was at Fort Benning, we used to go to Columbus, GA all the time. The only things there were boobie bars, massage parlors, ho-tels, and tattoo shops.  Once again, your cage setup is great and I will be contacting you in regards to a copper eventually.
Yea, I know..I'm prettier then your girl friend..Not now,I have a headache.

hey hun, i'll behappy ta help as much as I can.

Can you start a thread and post some pics of your copper, let me get a good look as how big it is, what kinda cage your using an all that? Is it wc or cb? If its WC when was it cought?

Copperheads are one of the more simple animals to work with and keep when it comes to venomous snakes. But babies can sometimes be a pain in the butt to keep.

actuly these are intergrades  (cross between southern an northern usualy found  were the  ranges over lap or meet).
and thanks ;)

with hots sometimes dressin a cage up can help but make sure that you are able to safely remove anything you put in an that there are no loops or anything for hanging the ivy left on them...  i had a male decide to craw threw one of those an got stuck -_- that was NOT fun.. infact i have video of that day...

If it can happen to a HOT it will...
