so lately i've been looking into getting an albino pacman frog...now when i first started herping i didnt really like amphibians...idk but i didnt...but the more i saw the pacman frog the more i liked it...for now i'll just be doing a little research but i have only found them for sale at AA Reptiles and was wondering if
1.) Anyone has had experience with these guys and if so was it good?
2.) Has anyone heard anything about this place?
3.) Does anyone know a good place to get and albino pacman frog?

PS: i think this forum should have a breeder page. where people give reviews on their experiences with specific breeders especially on kingsnake.com it could help out the rest of us =P i know a lot of people have had good experiences and bad ones so why not share em in one spot? just a thought...

never dealt with them but I know there is a comment/suggestion thread that you can go to that might get a little more attention from donnie and the like.

You should check the BOI over on FaunaClassifieds. It is the most useful tool when trying to find info on people. I think I've looked AA up before - and if I recall correctly something made me not buy from them. I could be thinking of someone else though.

While the idea of having a section here at DarkSide like the BOI sounds like a good idea, it really is a tricky thing. See, that would make DarkSide liable for anything someone said about a certain company. That could lead to lawsuits, etc. No fun. Rich at Fauna has done a great thing for the reptile community by being brave enough to host such a site. I do not see a section similar to the BOI being made for DarkSide anytime soon. I'm not completely throwing it out the window though :) It is a cool idea, just tricky.

I would have to agree with Abi on that one.  The BOI over at Fauna is sufficient enough mostly to find out stuff but if you want to discuss how great/bad of service you had with a certain company, we're not going to stop you.  We are NOT reliable for it though.  We do not have sponsors on this forum yet so for now, it's just word of mouth for any companies/breeders.

We just got our 2nd pacman on Sunday.  You won't be sorry.  They are pretty cool, especially when their appetite is on full force.  As far as getting one, I know bigappleherp.com sells them, but don't have any idea of the quality.  We were thinking of getting a frog from them because they're local to us, but ended up finding one at the reptile expo over the weekend.  Good luck on your search!
