Pheonix-Blood Python
« on: October 25, 2009, 01:59:43 PM »
well i figured since so many other people are doing this i will too xD

my blood python's name is Pheonix and i bought her at a local expo in Buffalo New York on sunday September 20th, 2009
this is a pic my gf took of her the night we got home from buffalo...the guy we bought her from said that the breeder was breeding for high yellow but she didnt come out that way...i knew he was either lying or misinformed...he had sumatrans and 1 red blood python...he had 2 borneos..i thought she might have been a borneo but she's to large(13 inches) and she's only a few weeks old(when i bought her)
but anywho this is her

and it looked as if she hadnt eaten in quite a while, her skin was VERY loose and snagged easily...but now she has eaten for me twice =D(i'm not gonna repeat pics of her eating i will take new ones)
i will be updating this at least every week(maybe twice depending on what happens)

Very cute girl!!

Once a month is good for updates so we can see the difference cause they don't normally grow that much within a week to see on pictures the difference.  I could be wrong though, but feel free to post all you want either way :)

well a special occassion has come up..she bit me for the first time today i didnt notice she is in a shed right now and i was going to clean her cage...next thing i feel is a little prick then a little bubble of red started to puff up i came to the conclusion she bit me lol but anywho...i have failed at switching her to f/t and there is not one place in this city i live in that sells rat feeders smaller then small adults...so i'm screwed on feeding her >.< idk how this will work..i got a feeding response out of her yesterday but she was going for my hand and not the mouse(she missed me though until today) i would take a picture of her but as i said she's started a shed so no disturbing her for a few days

please...i'm all ears for those tips...checked on her today and her eyes have completely cleared up, her colors all also vibrant again...but my main concern is the skin folds that are showing again =(
