Radiant heat actually mimics sun heat much better than lights do... but it's just heat only.

I know that you cant use heat rocks or anything like that for Uros because they dont have nerves on their undersides and would cook themselves because they don't know to move. I'd hate to think of what 40 cooking dragons would smell like lol.

There is a HUGE difference between radiant heat and heat rocks. Heat rocks suck because they aren't accurate and often have hot spots. With heat panels they should be hooked to a thermostat with a probe properly placed so that it doesn't get too hot. Make sure to have a temperature gun to measure the surface and air temps.
