flex watt how meny can be hook....

how meny 1-2 foot peaces can be hooked up to a helix for separate cages or just one.

it depends on the wattage of the flexwatt. Different widths have different wattages. The helix has a 500 watt max limit. So add up the wattage per foot total and make sure you don't go over that. I typically wouldn't like to use a single helix on more than one stack. And if you want the cages to have the same temps, then they need to be identical cages, with identical amounts of flexwatt in them. Using a helix in a stack of 3 like my retic cages, you'd want to put the probe in the middle cage.

COOL THANK YOU DONNIE HOW ABOUT SOME OF THE OTHERS LIKE HERPSTAT WOULD THEY BE THE SAME IM USING THE SAME THINGS THATS ON YOUR CAGES RITE NOW (THE DIMMER SWITCHES) AND WAS WANTING TO UP GRADE TO SOMETHING BETTER. BUT NOT GOING TO COST ME AN ARM AND A LEG.

wow man, easy on the caps lock... lol. Herpstat does have some more expensive models that will run 4 seperate cages at 4 different temps. And then I don't know the max wattage on those.... would have to look.

sorry about that Donnie my keyboards battery's went dead on me so i put new ones in and forgot to turn it off plus it don't help i haven't been to bed yet lol but what is better shall i say what would you do.

I personally like the helix's, but they're expensive. Never had customer support so good with anything else I bought though. The president of helix even called me to make sure I had my incubator set up right for retic eggs last year.
