Sonoran Siderwinder

This is a Sonoran Sidewinder that I found while out herping, I ended up giving him to a friend that raises sidewinders. 





3 California Kingsnakes
3 Western Banded Geckos
4 Leopard Geckos
1 Great Plains Skink

Man ,I want another one of them!!!! they are one of the calmest rattlers I have ever had!!!you got it good !! great snake! see any banded rock rattlers? have you seen them in blue-phase? :snake1:

They are very mellow, not high strung like I thought they would be, they are all over in my neck of the woods/cactus, the Mojaves are the really high strung snakes I would think they wouldn't do to well in captivity, of the WDBs I have one will snap at you just walking by her cage, and the other just watches you, maybe it thinks you are it's pet. I have yet to see any banded rock rattlesnakes. Arizona is the second best best place for road herping I have ever been. The best place I don't really feel safe at night, there are two many rattlesnakes.

Wow, thats a great find! I hardly ever see any wild herps in this area...

The only place I have ever seen a place with more herps than Arizona is West Texas, it's cool to see reptile that are found no where else in the world
