It's all good guys, we're all guilty of a hi-jack or two haha.
Here's my input:
Firstly, rabbits are GREAT! If you can get a steady supply of them, DO IT! I am lucky enough to have a personal rabbit breeder and I get them $1 per lb. Which is a phenomenal price, and the guy ALWAYS has 'em. He breeds meat rabbits for human consumption so they are fed an amazing diet. Plus they are show rabbits too (maybe not the ones I get, but he breeds those too) Rodentpro is great if ya have the money, but shipping is KILLER. In the end it's definitely worth doing some research for a rabbit breeder in your area and try to strike a deal with him/her.
Not to mention, rats are extremely fatty compared to rabbits. It's a leaner and more protein rich meat, with less fat. That is why snakes REALLY start to grow once they start eating them. So the sooner, the better! I know the research isn't there but I bet a steady diet of rabbits for the bulk of a snake's life may just increase its overall longevity. Something I can work on in after I get my degree

And dwg, thanks man! He's a good growin' afrock without the temper haha.
Oh and yes, the final word....garbage disposal snakes are the greatest ones!!!!!!! Hahaha!
