how can i keep a retic from under the paper lol

I have a purple female retic and she is about 5-6 ft now    i switched her and some of my other snakes over to paper substrait and now she wount stay above the paper she always finds a way to get under it  iv even tried to put heavey rocks on the conors but she finds a way throw the middle    im scared to use any type of tape ?? any help            oh and how long can i expect a female at one year ?

you can't, they like to hide, they're snakes. though if there's something more she's hiding from, like a light maybe? or if she's in a huge cage? that'll make them want to hide even more. As far as size at a year? 10 foot is not uncommon.

I agree. Just learn to live with it, and just be happy if she isn't dumping her water dish every ten minutes when she does it, lol.
My burm does it more than my retic, thank god because his dish is REALLY heavy. Her's is kinda whimpy, if she decided to go "exploring" under her paper, she could deffinetly knock it over.

yeah, the ceramic dog dishes seem to work best for retics.

another option is giving her a hide on the cool end, and one on the hot end so hopefully she decides to use those instead of the paper. but still... they don't like light, and they don't like big open spaces.
