I would try to start them on rat pinkies, not pinky mice, unless they're smaller than average, they should be able to take them. If you plan on feeding frozen thawed later, start them right off with frozen thawed. The reason I say these things is because snakes don't like change... especially bp's. You get them eating mice long enough, and they refuse to eat anything but mice. same with getting them eating live and then switching to f/t. A good long pair of hemos (like 18" will do great) work excellent to offer a warmed rat pinky to a baby bp. but like heart and soul said, after the first shed is when you offer the first meal. then offer it once a week til they take it. Don't offer it every day because they'll just associate food with stress and not eat.
