Me too. I had to HUNT DOWN these snakes to begin with. Then the one person that usually has them was all out, and the breeder just called last week to say his eggs hatched. I think there was a posting on fauna, but he only had one left. As for THIS photo, to clear things up before hand, their venom is mild, and they are rear fanged, similar to a mangrove. What's very different with this species is they're known for their gentle disposition. Which is why the breeder is freehandling one.Farmers actually release them on location in south america to keep away rodents and venomous snakes. They're actually a pretty neat species, and a venomous colubrid at that. Not a whole lot of extensive research has been done on this species, but they have the power and size of the large colubrids, combined with venom, so they're just an all around nifty snake, that also doubles as a pet for a few lucky herpers. Unfortunately since there is only a few cb clutches recorded, the pricing and availability is still somewhat a pain. BUT, I would still recommend them for any collection to the advanced herpetologist.
