A picture of one of my new cave dwellers that came yesterday.  More to come soon if all this rain stops.

Thanks. Tomorrow i'm gonna TRY to get a photo shoot in with the lot of them ( I have blues, taiwans and now caves). I'm gonna try to take some macro shots of the different patterns next to eachother.  Large colubrids are really the way to go right now if you're looking for a rewarding, challenging snake. Unfortunately they actually require MORE space than a large constrictor due to the fact that they're diurnal, fast, and many of them are arboreal.  The great thing about them is that they're active during the day, have amazing feeding responses, have a wider range of husbandry requirements, make a wonderful display, and still stay Relatively manageable. The downside is that they are a lot harder to find, and some of them get a LITTLE pricy. But there are many shapes, sizes, and colors available in every price range.

Oh nice! I think you like the same colubrids I do.. I'm really into old world rats. Cave dwellers are on the top of my list.

Definitely beautiful snakes, but from what I've heard (all second-hand, never owned any... yet), they can be quite the evil handfuls when all grown up.  Good luck and looking forward to more pics as they grow.

Amazing looking snake! Love the colors and pattern. I just purchased a juvenile blue beauty from the reptile show here in Maryland in September at the MARS show. Looking for a male morph beauty snake to breed her with when she matures.
