And here we thought MAYBE there could be alil bit of responcible ownership going on espiclay down in Fl... apparently not..

Its tragic that teh child died it realy is... This is not btw the only link there are alot an alota them put togeather varirous pictures of what happened. But the main issue is the BIG pssibility of the fact the guy wa skeeping a 12 foot snake in an aquarium an it got loose...

People are always goan cut corners when it comes to caging but when you have more then just yourself in the house, espiclay if you have BIG snakes, then you realy relay need to step it up a bit an spend that extra lil bit of cash an get the prper caging. not to mention the importance of locked roosm when children are in the household.
with all the new regulations that the givernement wants to stick on this hobby incidents like this look worse an worse on us all....

didn't realise you posted this here too... there is also a thread in the caging and housing section. Like I said there... just what we needed, another statistic because some jackass decided not to house his large constrictor properly...

No doubt, they should charge the adult instead of the snake.  It was just doing what nature intended. 

This is just terrible.  A bad blow to the hobby, and nightmares for life for the mother.

I hope they do charge him, he got that poor girl killed by not housing his snake properly!!

Did I miss something?  Was mom not there too?  Both parents should be put away as far as I am concerned.  A 12 foot Burm in a glass aquarium?  There's some highly intelligent folk.

Once again responsible keepers will have to pay for the mistake of a retard.  The loss of a child is a truly terrible event.  I hope they think about it every day for the rest of their lives.

thats horrible news I think I'm gonna buy 3 more ap's and just put my totes in them and lock em then when they get bigger just take the tote out.
