yeah i agree, also various products like probe sets, habba-mist, snake hooks stuff like that would be good ideas for prizes

Yeah those are some good idea's also.  Never heard of habba-mist as I don't mist any of my animals and I'm guessing that is what it is.

lol' habba mist is a really cool product, usually runs around 50 to 70 dollars, uses a 1 to 2 litre bottle for water, and works well on any reptile/amphibian that needs humidity in their environment, also the powersun bulbs from zoo-med would be a good prize they are a fairly pricey, 50  to 60 dollar bulb that lasts a year and provides heat, uva and uvb

Yeah I hear all of that.  Altho we want to be able to contribute stuff for the contests, that may be a bit much for one prize.

most of our members don't keep anything that needs uva/uvb though. Or use cages that need a mister. Good ideas, but we want to make sure everyone can get involved.

that is true donnie, but i was thinking of if we did a contest where there are multiple prizes, and the mister systems are good for anything that needs humidity, i know i could use them myself right now, because i had to put the tubs away during breeding season, and the misters actually would be benificial to breeding some species when humidity and rain are one of the triggers
