I'm new here.. great job on the site.. it has a really cool look to it.. I like the theme.. based on the few posts/threads I've read, there seem to be some fun, decent people here.. I hate forums where people put others down or try to  'out expert' everyone else.. I have a 9' female albino Burm.. she's awesome.. I've had her for a couple of years now.. I think she's between 3-4 years old.. I'll get some pics up soon.. just wanted to check in and say hello.. looking forward to some good dialogue and making some new herper friends here..

Also, out of curiousity, what is the size of the tank she's in and what is that you are using as a hide box?? My burm  is prolly a little smaller than your baby, and if I can find a nice dark hide-box for her like that one that will fit in her enclosure... well that would be awesome!!

thanks!.. I should really upgrade her enclosure.. she's in a 100 gal aquarium now (that's all I could get my hands on when I rescued her from the jerk who had her before).. I have a Ranco 'stat, flexwatt uth, a ceramic heat emitter (on a timer), and red heat lamps.. I regulate the humidity using her water dish with proximity to the lamps and misting when necessary.. I use an Acu-rite therm/hygrometer..

..I don't really use a hide anymore.. that pic is from about a year ago.. it's actually an upside-down Coleman cooler with a door hole notched into it.. lol.. I painted it with some camoflauge design.. her tank is in an outbuilding, so she's not really exposed or stressed.. she usually just coils up and tucks her head.. her body becomes a hide..

..I'll try to look in other threads to find pics of your snakes.. I love checking out snake pics!
