he/she looks very nice and i am not going to lie to you i will say if i think you done a good or bad job with your reptiles BUT that is so nice to see a snakes like that one ;) do you pick her/him up or not ??

Tailing with a hook but only when nessicary i don;t handel any of my hots their all done with hooks ^^

hogs are the best to start with they are more friendly than alot of Venomous you can buy

i;ve been  keeping venomous for roughly 16 years now ^_-.  An while  hognose can be a good snake to keep, they can still be poteinetly hazardus to your health. with any venomous snkae weither its rear fanged or other wise you always run the risk of an alergic reaction or anaphaltic shock. even though it seems unlikely with ahoggie, if you have a venom alergy it can be a bad thing.

far as hot snakes go i keep only native southern pitvipers at the moment - copperheads, Cottonmouth, Canebrake Rattlesnake, an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake I am going to be adding some new rattlers an maybe an elapid by next year
