well what else do ya think ya got in the incubator right now?
Unfortunately, my 2nd clutch did not go as well as I had hoped. The day they were laid, I candled the eggs. All but five of them lit up like a light bulb. I had hoped that some of that would change, but I have lost all but the five that candled good on the 1st day. Them's the breaks!
The pairing was triple het albino green granite x albino granite poss het green. I am hoping for at least one green in this clutch to prove out my male, but with so few eggs he'll not be proven non-het if I don't get any.
Lastly, I have a clutch of normals. The female is a normal and was bred to two males. The first was an albino green het granite and the second was an albino granite poss het green. I should be able to tell which one is the father when they hatch. If 100% of the babies have the jigsaw puzzle pattern, the albino granite is dad. If half or less have the jigsaw pattern, then the albino green het granite is the father...in theory. LOL...we'll see what happens.
