Late night herp catch...sort of.

ok so its not a reptile but it's close enough lol we found this big boy in the road and picked him up and brought him back home to the creek behind our house.

Very cool! I love big ol' froggies. I haven't caught any this year but I've found plenty of Salamanders, 1 toad and 2 Garter snakes (Eastern and Butler's). I'll have to post pics at a later time of my adventures.... lol :)

Very cool! I love big ol' froggies. I haven't caught any this year but I've found plenty of Salamanders, 1 toad and 2 Garter snakes (Eastern and Butler's). I'll have to post pics at a later time of my adventures.... lol :)
that'd be awsome ^_^...only wild snake i saw this year was in the tallons of a hawk >.> the redtails around here love the racers...poor snake...but hey it was a beautiful bird and that's the food chain for you lol

Redtail hawks are awesome too... I rescued one off the side of the road once... You would not believe how amazing it was to handle such a huge wild bird!

Redtail hawks are awesome too... I rescued one off the side of the road once... You would not believe how amazing it was to handle such a huge wild bird!

man that would be sooo cool. I've delt with grackles and crows (or members of the corvus family) but no birds of prey...they're amazing animals...i've always wanted one...

Very neat, I want a crow (so does my fiance, lol!) After messing with that hawk I started looking into falconry, that would be cool but I realized you have to be super dedicated for like 8 years to get your license or something... crazy :P

lol thanks wish i could have kept him but yeah he'd eat all my mice if i did lol like to see a packman frog next to that guy see how they compair.
