Just my opinion from 46 years experience with snakes people shouldn't be too hasty to feed another meal until the snake has digested and excreted the previous meal. This greatly reduces the risk of an intestinal obstruction or the snake getting bound up because that can kill a snake. This way if it passes fine you know the snake isn't having any digestive problems.
Yeah I totally understand that.  In the past, I was feeding him one jumbo rat every week but now that I ordered the larger ones from RodentPro, I'll be feeding every other week when he's back on a regular schedule again.  Thanks for your words of wisdom hun, it's always nice to hear what other people have found successful :)

You're very welcome my friend :O)
I look at it like this digesting is a big process for a snake that's why they lie still to digest food and it takes a lot of their energy to digest another reason they shouldn't be disturbed while digesting food.

Why would someone want to say feed a snake every week so they have to use that energy over and over again to digest when they can reduce the amount of times of feeding the snake by giving it one or more food items in one feeding? It saves the snake some work and the process for two is the same as for one food item they are just working a lot less to get the same benefits in the long run.

Yeah I can completely understand that.  I was feeding him every week while he was on smaller prey items from when my ex had him and wasn't feeding him hardly at all and it was small prey items.  He's very healthy now.  I haven't weighed him recently (mostly cause it requires weighing myself too lmfao!!) but he was 15lbs last year and doesn't seem to have lost any weight since he's been refusing.  He's a little over 6ft so we're doing good I think now :)

I wouldn't concern myself too much with it Tara because as Boas go through growth spurts you will notice significant changes in personalities and feeding habits.

I'm sure he will be just fine he knows he's loved!!!!

Geeez as big as Nosey and Grumpy are they could go for a year without eating and never look like they lost any weight. LOL
