Well guys, when the yellowhead laid her eggs, and I posted pictures... I made a mistake... I had alot of breeders telling me the eggs were all bad, so at the slightest sign of any discoloration or anything I was throwing them out... well, when I got down to the last one I figured what the hell, it can't spread to any others, so I left it in the incubator... hadn't checked it in awhiel, but the 14th was the hatch day so I decided to have a look. I opened the incubator, took the lid off the tote and the egg looked like it had pipped, so I decided we were gonna cut it... well, I put the lid back on and was getting ready to shut the door and go get kristi when I look down, and sure enough in the bottom tray of the door there was this little guy snapping at me! he still had his umbilicle cord on so I didn't want to post pics until I was sure he was going to do well. Well his cord fell off and he's going into his first shed so here we are! he is as normal yellowhead which means the father was the tiger het I gave celeste and not the super tiger like we thought, but that's ok... The first Dark Side Produced Retic! many more to come from here on out guys! And to all those that said I couldn't do it... this was my first attempt, and I didn't drown em all... nor did I cut em too early and kill em on my second attempt so....

And here he is today at 1 week old and going into his first shed...
