Well i live in SC ( South Carolina) and i think its like a 24 hr drive but im not sure its been so long since i have been to Ohio. I know Kanas is a 24 hour drive just about. I would have to fly there and some pick me up lol. Why not meet in the middle somewhere hahahaha. Thats the bad thing about time difference and people living in different states/countrys hard to make a good get together.

I just Yahoo Mapped it, and SC (center of state) to Columbus OH is only about an hour further a drive than me... you'd be looking at 9-10 hours. Not quite 24, LoL. I new that sounded really wrong... We've driven to Georgia in 13.5, to Florida in less than a day with several Pit Stops (South of the Boarder, etc...), and the bigg-un... from Colorado in a day and half with sleep at a hotel in the middle... And I'm from NJ, LoL.

Columbus just doesn't seem that far after you've driven THRU it on your way home from Colorado... LoL.
Cheers!

Figured this thread is about herping in Ohio - well I found this cute little guy while I was out in the woods near our house around noon on Easter:

A little Southern Two-Lined salamander. It is funny cos I was just talking about never finding salamanders... Well, this was my first one. I was more than excited when I lifted the log he was under and saw him. Of course after taking these pictures, I put him back where I found him.
