You can see the reference here, plus CITES doesn't recognize P. molurus pimbura as a distinct species, they only recognize Burms and Indian pythons in the molurus species (if you search the CITES species database you will see that pimbura don't exist).

Thanks for the link.  Just for the record, I just want to clarify that I wasn't questioning whether or not you were correct.  I don't think you read it that way, but I just want to make certain.  Congrats again on the clutch!

I didn't read it that way at all.   Seems to be a pretty ambigous topic. A topic I don't want to mess up.

The funny thing is, it is illeagl to even offer them from sale without noteing the issue with the permit.   So anytime you even see an ad for them with out the comment about the permit it is a federal offense.
