That is cool as hell!! (The inscription, I mean). The latest death in my cemetery that my photos were based in was 1936. There were no real inscriptions. Some didn't even have names, just initials. Others just said "Mother," or "Father," or "Veteran," or "Soldier." A good third were unmarked completely. And a lot of the big stones had fallen over and such, LoL. Its very old place. The church next to it is abandoned.

I absolutely LOVE your submissions! Your little girls are so ghostly/angelic in contrast with the cemetery and you :P Very nice, I can't even pick a favorite... That tombstone's inscription fit nicely with your theme though!

Thanks :)  They were so happy when I asked them to help, and if they wanted to be my Angels :)  We were all running around the cemetery in bare feet and just had fun doing it :)

We did too....and I still love graveyards...specially old ones!  Fun! (okay I know I'm wierd....but don't tell...k?)

There is an old German cemetery near me, back in the woods down a footpath seemingly in the middle of nowhere.  (I would have loved to have gone there, but it is 1 1/2 hour drive and I had like 30 mins of daylight left, lol.)  The newest grave there is from the 1800's.  People still go an leave flowers, and there are these ancient towering trees....  It is so silent bach there, and the light barely filters through the leaves.  Just gorgeous.
