Fluff up the bedding before nightime so you can get up in the morning to see all the matted down bedding  trails to see just how active your snake was the night before and where their favorite/most active spot is.  :D
Sometimes i'm simply amused LOL!

Lol. This sound's interesting but I think that most of us here use newspaper or some other type of paper for our snake's. lol.

If I didn't have double digit snakes ..I would definitely do this! Sounds very interesting ..as I love to watch my snake kids do their thing. Maybe I'll do one a week and get a better idea of who does what...  :D

if you ever get the chance though its pretty cool to see their likes of some spots repeatedly and then a new spot another few days or he's all over the place every square inch the can go. then some nights its a straight trail to water dish and back to the hide to chill lol. am watching though to see if the all over the place nights prelude to his weekly feeding day as if he's getting hungry and hunting. :Evil7:

That does sound neat, but like stated before I think most of us use papertowels/newspaper/etc for substrates so that would make it a little difficult.

Like Nesser said, you could take before and after pics :)

This is the one reason I use bedding! I'm convinced it gives my snakes something to do in their enclosures, and makes their living quarters more comfortable. They get new bedding or when I fluff it up, they work at it... either flattening it all down, or pushing it places they see fit, making themselves holes, or burrowing underneath.
Cheers!
